Geni recognizes people who provide leadership by making San Diego a better place to live, especially by standing up for those who need help to improve their quality of life.

When Geni is not on the air, she is almost always busy volunteering her time and talents to many of San Diego's worthy causes. She works with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Conference, San Diego Humane Society and Girl Scouts of America.

Geni also commits herself to in-class reading programs in San Diego elementary schools, and to Junior and Senior High School Career Days.
